Authentic Chaos

Seems appropriate for introducing myself. Authentic Chaos is the first tattoo I got of the summer. Notice I didn’t say first tattoo, just of the summer. So far, I have four new ones, oops, unbothered oops. Big Shoutout to @petiteink_ , we just get each other but make sure to check her out! Chaos, a word normally attached to something negative. But one can find growth amongst the chaos. For some, chaos may be big life changes, a new baby, job, location, but what if our chaos looked a little differently? What if we sat back and viewed it with a mind shift, a different perspective?

I can say, for me vibes have been chaotic lately. Personal life was thriving, then I was ghosted. We really still do that our age? Please if you are someone that does this, bruh get some help, like no I’m serious! But nah, email me because I want to hear your why behind it. It’s been insane at work with leadership changes and just figuring out what areas I can grow in and what passions do I need to refocus. And even though some of those things were/are a little shitty, guess what? I stayed authentic to who I am, which can be hard for us some days. See chaos can bring you clarity that you didn’t know you needed, it can help you look back on being ghosted and say I saw parts of myself that I really like in that situation and also notice that hey, you can’t share your kindness with everyone. And this part, people that’s not on us. I’m a naturally social person, I refuse to minimize this huge amazing personality, because others aren’t always in a place to receive it. Disruption has reawakened dreams, thoughts and projects that I had initiated but put up on the shelf, like this blog, vlog..whatever you want to call it. Fear of the unknown has held me at a hard pause on determining which road to venture out on. Worrying about others who don’t want progress and growth held me back. People who can’t give up control (a little ironic of me) has held me back. AND right now, we are stopping that. The only thing I can be is chaos. I don’t bite my tongue, I’m most likely to dance on a table on a fun night out, I’m going to have your back before you even know your back needs to be had. I’m a loyal friend, and will be your new tattoo supporter. I’m passionate and I can always help you Garden (ID Chanel)..iykyk.

I will smile at strangers, friends and dogs, say thank you and have a great day; I will compliment you because you wearin’ that fit, and a compliment may be what that person needs to get out their head and if we work in the same building, I got you..I will be your hype boss everyday. I’m not everyone’s glass of champagne, I wasn’t created to be. Some people will love us and ride for us and some well… I digress, LOL. See all I can do is be unapologetically myself, Mahoganie, my Authentic Chaotioc self. So put on your cutest boots or sneaks, grab a Paloma and get ready..it’s about to real good this way!
